Hi, my name is Hannah and I am an Integrative Psychotherapist based in the UK. I'm really glad you've found my safe space on the internet.
I specialise in working with clients in their 20's and 30's around topics of anxious attachments, relationships, emotion regulation, and trauma. I'm passionate and dedicated to supporting young adults to overcome their insecurities, improve their relationship with themselves and with others, and process the sh*t we were (or were not) taught during our childhood.
This includes taking back control over your overwhelming emotions, and life.
I do this by providing 1:1 integrative therapy, which means I tailor my approach depending my clients individual wants, needs, and goals for therapy.
I always want my clients to feel comfortable and at ease during our sessions, therefore creating a secure, therapeutic relationship is one of my main aims. I do this by incorporating humour, appropriate self-disclosure, and showing up as my authentic self, so that you can give yourself permission to do the same.
If you need a safe space to offload, someone to help you better understand your experiences, to work towards becoming the best version of yourself, or quite simply, if sh*t has hit the fan and you need to talk it through, I can help. Let's be honest, how often do we have 50 minutes of someone's undivided attention?!
I practice Person Centred Therapy (PCT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Attachment Theory. My overarching speciality is exploring people’s attachments (particularly anxious attachments), based on the notion that childhood trauma or adverse life experiences can impair our ability to think effectively, manage overwhelming emotions, form healthy relationships, and cope with stress. We then adapt by using perceived problematic coping behaviours such as avoidance, external validation, self-harm, or addiction.
